I recently spoke in a Westminster Hall debate about access to Defibrillators.
I feel deeply passionate about the urgent need for more defibs, greater knowledge about CPR and defib use, better awareness of heart health and a wider screening programme to detect risk. I'll continue to work closely with organisations such as Resuscitation Council UK and the British Heart Foundation to improve access to defibs and our local heart health.
You can watch the full speech via the link in the comments.
(Note the defib in Marlborough Square in Coalville is now accessible.)

All of the work I do in Parliament is about representing and giving a voice to my constituents, as part of that I am a member of the All-Party Parliamentary Group for Flooding and Flooded Communities.
At our last meeting we heard from a Shrewsbury based hydrologist working with The National Flood Forum. He shared his research with us, exploring more accurate ways to model the economic impact of flooding on businesses, using Shrewsbury as a case study.
After the devastating floods our communities faced at the beginning of the year, and with winter approaching, I want to assure you that I continue to engage with experts on this - on how to best serve you during these incredibly difficult times.
As always, please do get in touch if either me or my office can offer you any support at [email protected] or on 01530 569 010.
