Burton – Leicester: Restoration of Passenger Rail Petition
As part of my ongoing efforts to bring passenger rail services back to the historic Ivanhoe Line from Burton to Leicester, which would reconnect Coalville, Ashby de la Zouch & Swadlincote to the rail network, I have now launched a petition urging the Government to support the proposal and work closely with my Steering Group of local stakeholders to enable the reinstatement of passenger rail services to North West Leicestershire, South Derbyshire and surrounding areas.

Defib Dash 2026
The Defib Dash is a community audit taking place between 5th and 13th September that you can get involved in! All you need to do is find your nearest publicly accessible Defibrillator and “Dash” to it (you could walk, run or cycle, just don’t use your car!), timing your journey.
