Flood Defence Update After £334,000 Secured For North West Leicestershire
Earlier this year, North West Leicestershire secured £334,000 of investment in local flood defence schemes to better protect homes and businesses in Long Whatton, Breedon and Diseworth.

#SmallBusinessSaturday is a fantastic way to support small businesses.
Last weekend I popped into #coalville to pick up some Christmas gifts from Newmarket Coalville & Belvoir Shopping Centre as well as my daughter spending the last of her birthday money with Balling UK.
Yesterday I popped to Castle Donington and picked up an amazing Lemon Meringue pie and some lunch at Deli11 as well as seeing some old friends who run the post office.
It was good to buy a little gift for the winner of my Christmas Card Competition from The Olive Branch Toy Shop
