Earlier this year, North West Leicestershire secured £334,000 of investment in local flood defence schemes to better protect homes and businesses in Long Whatton, Breedon and Diseworth.

Last week I met with the British Heart Foundation to discuss the results of last years Defib Dash alongside my continued efforts to improve local heart health and access to defibs across the constituency.

It was a real pleasure to speak at GoHenry’s Reception in Parliament, as the Co-Chair of the Financial Education APPG.
GoHenry teaches kids about money management and responsible spending, offering money management lessons that allow children to handle their own pocket money while learning valuable financial skills.
It was fantastic to hear that they have now released 80 of their video lessons on YouTube, free for anyone to watch and use: www.youtube.com/JustGoHenry/videos
This is such a timely moment for financial education, I look forward to working closely with the sector over the coming months
