Bus Services 129 and 125
Dear Resident,
I have received notification from Leicestershire County Council that Diamond Buses intend to cancel the 129 service from Ashby to Loughborough and the 125 service from Castle Donington to Leicester (via Coalville).
I am extremely concerned about the impact of these changes, and I am in the process of seeking urgent clarity from Leicestershire County Council to understand if and how they will be replaced.
As a Government, we have provided an additional £8m for Leicestershire County Council to support bus services, and I will be working with colleagues to ensure that our communities feel every penny of this funding, in the areas that need it the most.
