Amanda Hack Wishes Constituents a Merry Christmas
The festive season is here, and I’d like to send best wishes to you and your loved ones. Christmas is a time to reflect and share in the love of family and friends while remembering those who are no longer with us.
Being your Member of Parliament is an honour for which I am deeply grateful. So far, it’s been an exhilarating experience. Since my election in July, I’ve received over 10,000 inquiries and comments. Responding to your requests for help and championing North West Leicestershire at Westminster are my top priorities. Thank you to everyone who has been in touch.
Over the last five months, I’ve held nineteen constituency surgeries and attended more than one hundred local meetings and events. I’m pleased to report that my office is now fully staffed, and I have a dedicated team here in the constituency to support your needs.
I’m working to improve public transport, clean up our waterways, and secure more accessible health services. I will keep advocating for the resources needed to enhance well-being in our towns and villages. Please share your experiences and ideas so we can deliver the change North West Leicestershire needs.
As we look to 2025, I want to build strong communities where we support each other and face the inevitable challenges together. I will listen to your hopes and expectations, and, whilst I cannot make every wish come true, I promise to work diligently on your behalf.

Lovely to pop up to the Mayday Market in Castle Donington earlier today! A big thanks to Castle Donington Parish Council for putting together another fantastic event!
Great to speak to the stall holders and take my daughter to the wonderful Wanted Wardrobe, she was excited to meet Tilly and Victoria after hearing so much about the story behind the shop.

Today we begin 4 days of commemorations across the country to mark #VEDay80 later this week.
I know many people will be enjoying Street parties, BBQs, and community get-togethers today, which mirror the celebrations of 80 years ago.
In central London, The Cenotaph stands draped in flags, just as it did on VE Day 1945, as a tribute to those who gave the ultimate sacrifice for our future.
