Amanda Hack Wishes Constituents a Merry Christmas

The festive season is here, and I’d like to send best wishes to you and your loved ones. Christmas is a time to reflect and share in the love of family and friends while remembering those who are no longer with us.

Being your Member of Parliament is an honour for which I am deeply grateful. So far, it’s been an exhilarating experience. Since my election in July, I’ve received over 10,000 inquiries and comments. Responding to your requests for help and championing North West Leicestershire at Westminster are my top priorities. Thank you to everyone who has been in touch.

Over the last five months, I’ve held nineteen constituency surgeries and attended more than one hundred local meetings and events. I’m pleased to report that my office is now fully staffed, and I have a dedicated team here in the constituency to support your needs.

I’m working to improve public transport, clean up our waterways, and secure more accessible health services. I will keep advocating for the resources needed to enhance well-being in our towns and villages. Please share your experiences and ideas so we can deliver the change North West Leicestershire needs.

As we look to 2025, I want to build strong communities where we support each other and face the inevitable challenges together. I will listen to your hopes and expectations, and, whilst I cannot make every wish come true, I promise to work diligently on your behalf.

You can contact me via [email protected] or by post at 109 Belvoir Road, Coalville, LE67 3PH.

I wish you all a Merry Christmas and a peaceful and prosperous New Year.

I was proud to support Labours Renters Rights bill yesterday which will:

✅ Limit the advance rent landlords can demand
✅ Prevent students from being pressured into signing early tenancy agreements
✅ Protect bereaved families acting as guarantors for their relatives

This is good abd long overdue. Will you be able to update re lease especially in regard to extending lease. Also year on year service charge increases with little improvement in services and outstanding work on buildings for years. Especially concerning where Social Housing Association is concerned. I welcome your feedback Amanda. Thanks for all of your hard work!

Good luck finding all the houses for the homeless renters as a result of this - all you’re doing is forcing genuine landlords to sell their properties

On Friday, I had the opportunity to meet with the Chief Fire Officer of the Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service. I expressed my thanks to the team members at Castle Donington Fire Station for their hard work following the floods from last week.

We talked about how quickly the water levels rose and how this impacted the response, which ultimately led to the declaration of a major incident with all resources being deployed across the county.

It was also good to understand more about the funding gap between Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service and other areas across the UK, which I will be raising with the Minister shortly.

You’ve STILL not answered my query - Via Facebook or the email that I sent you. This is regarding your vote against a new enquiry into grooming gangs.
