Amanda Hack Wishes Constituents a Merry Christmas

The festive season is here, and I’d like to send best wishes to you and your loved ones. Christmas is a time to reflect and share in the love of family and friends while remembering those who are no longer with us.

Being your Member of Parliament is an honour for which I am deeply grateful. So far, it’s been an exhilarating experience. Since my election in July, I’ve received over 10,000 inquiries and comments. Responding to your requests for help and championing North West Leicestershire at Westminster are my top priorities. Thank you to everyone who has been in touch.

Over the last five months, I’ve held nineteen constituency surgeries and attended more than one hundred local meetings and events. I’m pleased to report that my office is now fully staffed, and I have a dedicated team here in the constituency to support your needs.

I’m working to improve public transport, clean up our waterways, and secure more accessible health services. I will keep advocating for the resources needed to enhance well-being in our towns and villages. Please share your experiences and ideas so we can deliver the change North West Leicestershire needs.

As we look to 2025, I want to build strong communities where we support each other and face the inevitable challenges together. I will listen to your hopes and expectations, and, whilst I cannot make every wish come true, I promise to work diligently on your behalf.

You can contact me via [email protected] or by post at 109 Belvoir Road, Coalville, LE67 3PH.

I wish you all a Merry Christmas and a peaceful and prosperous New Year.

Whilst I’ve been in Parliament this week, the team have been busy out and about right across North West Leicestershire.

On my behalf earlier in the week, they attended a meeting to discuss flooding in the village of Diseworth with local stakeholders and the flood alleviation group.

Alongside this, they met with Ashby Town Council and Cash Access UK to discuss progress on the new Banking Hub coming to the town later this year.

Separately, letters were delivered to local residents about my upcoming residents meeting on how we can enhance protections for homeowners on freehold estates and prevent estates from being left unadopted, with more of these to be delivered over the coming week.

Altogether, it’s been another busy week of working hard locally and in Parliament to raise concerns, push for progress, and deliver for residents across North West Leicestershire.

Great to host a coff

Great to host a coffee morning earlier today at Ashby de la Zouch town council.

We had a great conversation and covered a number of things from the NHS, Police, local government reorganisation, transport, Ivanhoe, Speeding and the unfair cost of a holiday during the summer.

My next coffee morning will focus on Leaseholders. Letters will be delivered over the next week or so.

If you would like to attend please just contact the office.
