Meeting Mineworkers Pension Scheme Members in Parliament
It was great to meet members of the Mineworkers’ Pension Scheme in Parliament last week.
I am continuing to work closely with the Mineworkers’ Pension Scheme trustees, Government ministers and fellow coalfield MPs to secure further uplifts to the pensions of the 1,500 scheme members in North West Leicestershire, building on the average increase of £29 per week that was delivered to members in 2024 thanks to our action.
