We’ve all got them… subscription services.
And let’s be honest – most of us have, at some point, forgotten to cancel a free trial or struggled to work out how to do it. That’s about to change.
From next year new rules will make subscriptions fairer and easier to manage, including:
One-click cancellationA 14-day cooling-off period after free trials or auto-renewalsClear, upfront information before you sign upRequire reminders before trials end or contracts renewToo many people have been caught out by unwanted renewals and having to jump through endless hoops just to cancel.
We believe you should be in control, with transparency and fairness at the heart of every contract and that’s why we’re making these changes.
