This morning I attended the Primrose Service at Christ Church Coalville. A Remembrance Service dedicated to the memory of the Whitwick Mining Disaster of 1898.
Â
The local community have been resolute in the way they have preserved the memory of every single life lost in the disaster as well as recognising those grieving families in the aftermath.
Â
The care they put into this work is remarkable.
Â
It was an honour to plant a Primrose in the memorial garden.
